Brainstorm a list of environmental and/or occupational health incidents that have affected populations in your city and state.
Choose two or three incidents that interest you most and conduct research to find out more about them. Have these incidents been widely studied?

What populations were most impacted? Was this group from a maligned community? Was the incident the result of a policy compliance violation?
Of the issues you have researched, choose one on which to focus.
Conduct additional research to identify articles relevant to your environmental and/or occupational health incident. Begin reading and taking notes on the articles you find.
Conduct research to identify articles (at least 2–3) relevant to the impacted population of your selected incident. Was this group from a maligned
