how effective the speaker’s DELIVERY was (e.g. was the rate ok? Did it flow well?

Was it extemporaneous?). Again, it’s a good idea to use the checksheet for help –

many students actually give the speech a grade using it. – overall, what was your reaction – was the speech effective?

FORMAT – people who know me know that I am very big on following rules. Don’t lose points for formatting.

Your paper should be two pages, double-spaced, 11 point font, 1″ margins all around, and a 2-line header, just your name and the date. If you had seen what I’ve seen (like

papers with 3″ margins and 16 point font) you’d understand why I do this. Two pages is two pages – not exactly a long paper! Please follow these directions carefully.
